This page provides a current-state analysis of the hub and spoke treatment services within Colorado, including Colorado's 19 Regional Opioid Abatement Councils (ROACs). The metrics chosen are intended to provide a snapshot of important information and contextualize elements in opioid use and treatment availability in Colorado. Regional Hub and Spoke Data
The COAC works with 19 Regional Opioid Abatement Councils (ROAC) to distribute opioid settlement funds for substance use disorder treatment, recovery, harm reduction, law enforcement, and prevention/education programs. The 19 regional councils determine how to distribute and manage their funds with oversight from the statewide Colorado Opioid Abatement Council. To support decision-making at the ROAC level, profiles have been created for each ROAC region.
For more information on ROACs, please visit the Colorado Attorney General website.
