HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is quickly becoming the standard of care for the prevention of HIV among persons at increased risk for HIV acquisition. HIV PrEP for the Primary Care Provider, a short 15 minute video developed by the Denver Prevention Training Center in partnership with the National Association of Community Health Centers, demonstrates the PrEP initiation process including patient/provider interactions, patient eligibility and clinical guidance.
The following vignettes are segments from the full video above and provide clips focused on different components of PrEP care from the initial visit to the 30 day visit, as well as highlighting the clinical guide and patient eligibility.
